Is it impossible to formulate a lightweight SPF 50? Reviewing expectations I light of the Purito sunscreen controversy and how to choose the right SPF
Hey guys and welcome to Mad About Skin where we take a look in this video on our sunscreen expectations in light of the Purito sunscreen controversy and whether its possible to achieve a protection level of SPF50 in a lightweight formulation.
We have all fallen in love with the lightweight texture of Korean sunscreens, but with recent testing from the Korean Institute of Dermatalogical Sciences showing that the majority of the main brands tested have fallen below SPF50 is it realistic to expect such a high level of protection in a light weight formulation.
I explore the things we should be looking for when it comes to choosing a sunscreen for our skin care routine and how to choose the right SPF for you.
I would love to know what your go to sunscreen is at the moment and your thoughts on whether we should be expecting a little less from the sunscreens we use so please leave me a comment below and let me know what you think.
