Revealing the outcomes of further testing on Korean sunscreens in light of the Purito sunscreen controversy..
Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin.. Those of you familiar with the channel will know about the recently Purito sunscreen controversy, where the Purito centella unscented green level sun was advertised as SPF50 but delivered just spf 19..
I previously mentioned that further testing has been conducted by the Korean Institute of Dematalogical Sciences into some famous Korean sunscreens and here are the results..
Many will be disappointed that the names of companies and brands haven’t been disclosed, this is likely to be as a result of legal action and will be made avaliable when the lab is confident of their findings.. What they have revealed is that they believe it is difficult to be able to create a lightweight elegant formulation which still delivers SPF50- its self a shocking thought..
I would love to know what you think of this recent development.. I dont think the SPFs matter, what matters is that companies are making claims which they cant substantiate which ia, unethical and in this case potentially dangerous..
