Neogen Pore Mousse is a K-Beauty facial peel that claims to remove dead skin, excess dirt, oil, and makeup from the pores. A video of the mousse being used went viral on TikTok and had many people confused about how it worked. Insider Producer Celia Skvaril decided to try the Neogen Pore Mousse out for herself. She spoke to Chelsea Scott, co-founder of The Beauty Spy, who sells the mousse in America, about how the product works like a vacuum to absorb dirt from the skin. She looked at her pores beforehand with a microscope, used the mousse, and then looked at her pores afterwards to see if the product actually helped to unclog them.
Celia has been struggling with a bad acne breakout since November 2019. In “The Zit Fix,” she will be trying out a bunch of different products — microscope included — to see if they help her breakouts, while getting help from experts along the way.
