Clinique recently released its Dramatically Different Moisturizing BB-Gel. According to Clinique, the product has “Transforming Tint Release Technology” and hydrates for eight hours. It says the BB gel starts out gray and then “transforms to naturally perfect and unify skin tone.” Since the launch of Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, the makeup world has been making a much needed shift to inclusivity and diversity in its products. Because of this shift, one-size-fits-all makeup products seem few and far between, and ones that actually work are even rarer. Producer Nico Reyes tried the BB gel with a little help from her friends to test if it stays on for eight hours and and whether it’s really one-shade-fits-all. Will the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing BB-Gel be worth your money or a total bust?
An earlier version of this video referred to the product as a foundation in the headline. Clinique says that the product is a BB gel, not a foundation.
